Vaccination |
|
There
aren't any special vaccination imposed. We recommend to ask your doctor or to
inform you in a tropical institute to come to know the necessary
vaccinations ( f.e. Hepatitis A, Tetanus, Diphtheria ......).
Recommendable is a vaccination of Hepatitis A, which is free of charge for
children in some European Countries. In any case
a
travel first-aid bag should be taken with.
In South Morocco in some river oasis there are sometimes gnats
(Anopheles), which can be communicator of the Malaria (in Morocco only the
light form appears).
But it is excessive for a vaccination against Malaria, because the side
effects are much higher than the chance to be infected.
We recommend to inform at a tropical institute for prophylaxis.
We also recommend
to take in your travel first -aid bag:
- Lotion ( for repulsing gnats)
- Wearing long trousers (not shorts) and shirt with long sleeves.
- Sleeping under a mosquito-web |

Preventions (diarrhoe etc.) |
We only gives the advices of the foreign office to your information.
Most of the infectious germs are transported through the food and the drink. If
there is only a consummation of clean water and clean drinks, there aren't
probably any diarrhoeas because of germs. There is one golden rule: "peel it, cook it or leave it"
Please remark the following Diarrhoea rules:
1. Attention of ice cubes, ice creams, seafood, all not freshly cooked food,
included dessert (pudding);
2. Imodium is a popular medicament against the diarrhoea and it is also
available in Morocco. It is not a therapy it fights only against the
symptoms. If there any blood in your saddles or if you have fever, please
consult a doctor!
3. Attention in case of any other diseases: diabetics or any chronicle
diseases. Maybe you are more sensible for diarrhoea. Please contact a doctor!
4. Do not eat unpeeled fruits and avoid salads, because the potable water has
not the quality of drinking water. Moroccan people are habituated to drink the
water. You can get Diarrhoea after drinking it, although it is only used for
washing fruits. |
